Limited Liability Company for Foreign Investment (PT PMA)

A PT PMA (Penanaman Modal Asing) is a foreign investment business entity that allows foreigners to establish and own a company in Indonesia. It facilitates foreign direct investment and can be wholly owned by foreign investors or in partnership with local investors. This type of company enables foreigners to invest, operate, and manage businesses in Indonesia.

A PT PMA requires at least 2 share holders. One will be the director and the other will be the Commissioner. The Director must getting the Investor KITAS later in order to open up PT PMA bank account. The rest of the share holder no need to apply the KITAS if they do not want to live in Indonesia.
A PT PMA only can do medium to big businesses, some business sector has their owned terms and condition. A PT PMA must make 3 monthly online report in Government OSS website
